Air Hostess to City SP, Then Extortion Accusations: Madhya Pradesh Police officer Neha Pachisia, who once worked as an air hostess before joining the state police service, is facing serious allegations in a land dispute in Katni.
Pachisia, posted as City SP in Katni, was named in an FIR along with two others in connection with the alleged coercive purchase of around 2.15 hectares of land in Kanhwara. The case involves allegations of extortion, cheating, criminal conspiracy and misuse of official position.
According to the investigation, the land was allegedly registered for around ₹18.20 lakh, despite a much higher government guideline value. Investigators are also examining a ₹15 lakh transfer made shortly before the property registration and the source of the funds.
Following the FIR, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered Pachisia’s suspension and directed officials to ensure an impartial investigation. The government has said strict action will follow if the allegations are proved.
Pachisia had earlier attracted attention after securing 20th rank in the MPPSC examination and moving from aviation to the police service. She is now facing scrutiny over the Katni land case, with the investigation still underway.
The allegations have not been proven in court, and the accused are entitled to due process.
